Freestyle Nova Scotia is now accepting applications for the 2022/2023 Freestyle NS Athlete Assistance Program.

INTRODUCTIONÂ
The intent of Freestyle Nova Scotia’s Athlete Assistance Program is to provide financial support towards the ongoing development of athletes who are representing Nova Scotia at a national/international level. The funding is to help offset training and competition expenses incurred by selected Freestyle NS athletes. The goal of the program is to assist athletes as they continue to show improvement in their sport from year to year which is demonstrated by their performance and results.
APPLICATION & FUNDING PROCESS
- Deadline for application is end of day on January 20th, 2023.

All applications will be evaluated by a committee consisting of members of the Freestyle NS Board of Directors.

Only information provided by the athlete in their application will be considered. For this reason, it is vitally important that the applicant ensure that all required information is provided, and that the information is accurate.

Athletes will be advised of funding decisions by email, no later than January 31st, 2023.

Athletes are required to submit receipts for reimbursement if they are selected for the funding program.
ELIGIBILITY
- Athlete must be a resident of Nova Scotia.

Athlete must be a member in good standing with Freestyle Nova Scotia and have their 2022/2023 membership.

Athlete must be engaged in a freestyle high performance program at any registered Freestyle NS Club.
