Our primary goal is to introduce freestyle skiing, in a safe and friendly environment to athletes in Nova Scotia. As well as developing youth athletes individual abilities, the Provincial Sport Organization provides a nurturing grassroots level for young skiers and their families to build their skills and confidence.

Our skiers develop strength, agility, balance as well as overall health, fitness, confidence and drive. The PSO continues to work with national and club level freestyle skiing organizations to develop high performance athletes. We firmly believe that grassroots development is what drives the discovery of future Olympians.
