FSNS Junior Nationals Athlete Criteria 2013 Rev2

In order for our Clubs and FSNS to host the competitions needed by our athletes we need lots of Volunteers.  You do not need to be experienced or have any knowledge of freestyle ski competitions; you will be placed in a skill appropriate position.  We encourage all our parents to take the Level 1 Officials course.  It provides a wealth of information that will not only help out with volunteer duties but also provide a new level of understanding of the sport of freestyle skiing.

Officials and Judging clinics are coming up this month, please see the calendar for details!

A Club Coach Course will be held at Wentworth on Dec 28, 29 and 30^th. The cost of the course is $250.  All participants must be members of CFSA (a general membership is required to take the course, a coaching membership is required if you intend on coaching this year).  A 50% subsidy is available to participants who pass the course and actively coach for the entire season at a Nova Scotia Ski Hill.  The subsidy will be paid at the end of this season.  Please contact Conny Allen at freestyleskileague@skiwentworth.ca to register or for further information. (Please note a second course is tentatively scheduled for March 23 – 25 to be held at Martock).
